Here is my 1956 Gibson L7CN For sale. It includes a rhythm chief 1100 pick up from the 1960s mounted by a stick. Guitar is all original except for the pick guard set ups. I have three set ups one is acoustic, second is a Lollar blade Charlie Christian style pick up, And then the 1100 rhythm chief. Asking $6499 shipped domestic net to me.
Some light scratches and dings, but absolutely crack free. Frets are good and playable, but on the last crown. This is likely an update the next owner will need to do some time down the line.
Nice guitar but you want the same price as Reverb. You might do the forum a favor and give them a break if you sell it through the forum, you don't pay any fees.
A bump for a great vintage setup. Guitar is clean and great shape vintage pickup setup is solid and versatile. Knock $800 off is you don’t want the pickup.
What you say about the 60's is true Prince. I was 15 in '69. I had been listening to Birth of Cool, Giant Steps, Blue Train, some Django, some Wes and so on. Then I heard Nefertitti and it really...
Well, I if I needed help learning to improvise, I wouldn't buy the book after reading that in the forward. It's like saying, "this is a really inefficient means to learn to improvise."

Interesting revelation from Thomas in the forward to the book:
”.The Monophonic side was a lot trickier. I practiced these techniques regularly (and with zeal) for about 7-8 years before they made...
The Sadowsky branded archtops are great guitars for sale and on sale in Japan. I just noticed Walkin JP has two new Semi-Hollows in its inventory asking for a little under $3250 each. Ditto the Jim...
Thomas Echols has a new video, giving samples from his new book on generating linear playing—i.e, lines using BH’s methods. I ordered the book. Probably best to read it before really grokking what’s...
In Auckland, we have Vitamin S. Every Monday night, two scratch groups of three musicians play non-idiomatic improvisation — in a bar. The groups are formed for the occasion from a pool of...
Let's not forget that he 1960's was History's most astonishing decade. Period. Everything that went in at one end of the 60's came out different at the other end. Everything. Jazz had no more chance...
If anybody wants to see some extreme pronation and 3 fingered stretches they could google up Sonny Greenwich. I can't remember which vid showed it, but I was kinda shocked!
