Here is my 1956 Gibson L7CN For sale. It includes a rhythm chief 1100 pick up from the 1960s mounted by a stick. Guitar is all original except for the pick guard set ups. I have three set ups one is acoustic, second is a Lollar blade Charlie Christian style pick up, And then the 1100 rhythm chief. Asking $5399 shipped domestic net to me.
Some light scratches and dings, but absolutely crack free. Frets are good and playable, but on the last crown. This is likely an update the next owner will need to do some time down the line.
Nice guitar but you want the same price as Reverb. You might do the forum a favor and give them a break if you sell it through the forum, you don't pay any fees.
A bump for a great vintage setup. Guitar is clean and great shape vintage pickup setup is solid and versatile. Knock $800 off is you don’t want the pickup.
It very much depends. There are some venues where it will be an issue even clean. In NYC there were plenty of those. And here in China, what can I say, even humbuckers hum, you got the idea.

I also suspect that whatever...
Well, to me the twang lives at the bridge pickup. And classic filtertron is def twangy at that. The neck pickup is fine... but then again I'm not looking for a super dark tone on any guitar, let...
One person I know with formal musical education says that count-ins are always two bars. If there's a pickup of, say, more than a quarter note's duration, then in cut time, the count would be 1-2-1....
If you're playing relatively loud in a place with dirty power, yeah, you might still hear some sizzle. I bought one of those Hum Debugger things years ago, works like a charm.
No lingering odor. You can smell it when it's liquid, but it evaporates quickly. Once I wipe with a dry cloth I don't smell anything.
Caveat: I use it, but I don't know if it's safe for every...
If it's a tele, it should be a single coil. IMO. The tele neck pickup has been much maligned over the decades, when it's a gorgeous tone. And works quite well for jazz. Nothing wrong with a...
