Here is my 1956 Gibson L7CN For sale. It includes a rhythm chief 1100 pick up from the 1960s mounted by a stick. Guitar is all original except for the pick guard set ups. I have three set ups one is acoustic, second is a Lollar blade Charlie Christian style pick up, And then the 1100 rhythm chief. Asking $5399 shipped domestic net to me.
Some light scratches and dings, but absolutely crack free. Frets are good and playable, but on the last crown. This is likely an update the next owner will need to do some time down the line.
Nice guitar but you want the same price as Reverb. You might do the forum a favor and give them a break if you sell it through the forum, you don't pay any fees.
A bump for a great vintage setup. Guitar is clean and great shape vintage pickup setup is solid and versatile. Knock $800 off is you don’t want the pickup.
Please check in with Fox Fletcher in Albuquerque. Handmade Electric Solid Body Guitars - Mallory Guitars I highly recommend him. Fox is an accomplished luthier and repair tech. He has a Master...
Actually, Alan Carruth has, at least as properly as he could.
That's why I asked a luthier. But as I said somewhere above, the strings don't come into contact with the fretboard wood. So any...
I have a Yamaha G100 III 2x12, too big for my needs but otherwise a great amp (excellent EQ as stated). I bought it on eBay over 20 years ago for a very low price, its size scared off most buyers. Of...
I would also replace base with a full footprint on the top. This spreads the load much better and reduces chance of top sagging or misalignment in future. Performance and functionality are more...
There are 3 ways to learn how play lines: transcribe, read, and work out the mechanics of the raw materials.
1. Transcribe. Like the others said, it's essential to transcribe some things to be...
I hate to recommend Cordoba but they do have 1 or 2 guitars of that size. Whether they fit in your budget is a different question.
The closest you can probably get is a 7/8th size classical...
I picked up a piece I worked on a few years ago when it was barely playable for me:

This is a really timely post, thank OP!
I have a '52 reissue Tele from '99 that I discovered sounded and felt fantastic for jazz. Yes, I know. Famous players have been making great jazz music...
There is a potential way to fix the sagging. Not complicated and possibly easy given you can get under the top to work with the pickup cavities open. It involves matching a curved brace under the top...
One of the more SFW stories from Miles’s autobiography
“Bird never talked about music, except one time I heard him arguing with a classical musician friend of mine. He told the cat that you...
Apparently, just for some trivia, the C on the score doesn't stand for 'Common' time. It comes from medieval church music where 3/4 was considered the most religiously perfect time signature (tempus...
If I had to choose one, then single coil.
What I think would be cool: a single coil pickup right next to a humbucker, both in the "neck" position. I haven't found a HB pickup that works well when...
The cost of labor here in California is quite high. I expect luthier work to cost $100 an hour or more. And finding a luthier with the skill set to work on archtops is not easy. A vintage guitar...
So what kind of blues is this (or not?)
