Maybe some of you might remember I was going to list this a while ago on here, but decided to have some work/repair done on it. I've had it on Reverb and just updated the listing to include the work that Marc at Guitars N Jazz did on it (pics included).
For the folks on here I'd lower the price to $6,400 after fees + split cost of actual shipping. PRICE DROPPED TO $6,000.
With regards to possible trades, I've mentioned before that I'm a vintage spirits collector, so if you have a bottle of booze that's been in the closet for a while, I might be interested. FYI, this does NOT mean it has to be 50+years old, I'm interested in things even from 2000s
Thanks folks!

Spot on. I was lazy and thought I might find a buyer with limited effort. I'm preparing to craft proper listings in the next week or two as I get more serious about selling these. I will be listing on Reverb and may even consider taking these to a consigner.
I'm super familiar with the market and intentionally listed at top dollar in case there was a buyer lurking at the moment I posted these. But since then, I haven't even had any tire kickers which, I thought was weird regardless of price. I also think it's obvious that all listings were implicitly OBO. In other words, if you think the price is high, make an offer. Isn't that how this works?[/QUOTE]

I have found in our little group here that people tend to take the price much more seriously. And I have never had anyone really make an offer. They either buy it or stay away. It's not like reverb in my experience where people just throw out numbers.
1. I don't know how listing something with an asking price and accepting offers implies I'm not serious.
2. I don't believe people don't make offers here. That's obviously just not true. Stop.
3. If someone's interested, they'll inquire and make an offer if they're a serious buyer. If they're not, please, do stay away and don't waste time.

Frankly I think we should all delete our posts not referencing the OP's Smith.
It's not doing his sale any good.

Yeah. Please do. if there are other arguments between members, that should be taken privately or in a different part of the forum.

What I see is a thread with a Gibson Johnny Smith that is priced right and another member has intruded on the thread to bring attention to three guitars that are either marketed incorrectly or priced too high.
To the OP: GLWTS! Your price is very fair.
To the intruding poster: Good luck with your sale(s) as well. Start a separate thread for each guitar and drop your price a bit and they will sell. You have three VERY desirable guitars.
