I built this guitar a few years ago when I was my Ed Bickert phase. The soldering and pickup installation was done at Midwood Guitar Studio in Charlotte. Guitar was also setup there.
The neck is a warmoth custom neck and cost about $600 alone. The body is a Fender Road Worn Telecaster Nitro and was purchased for $400. The neck pickup is a Lollar Imperial costing about $200. Hardware is upgraded as well, with Schaller M6 locking tuners which retail for $140. Altogether, this guitar is worth over $1,500. The only recommendation I would make is to switch out the bridge pickup to something more substantial, I didnt out anything too expensive in because I only used the neck pickup. Looks like a great deal for someone! Two questions… is the Lollar a normal-wind or a low-wind? and… do you have the tip for pickup switch? Thanks and best of luck with the sale!
I’ll throw in a KA HPAC pickup which was left over from a Comins GCS-16 I own, if anyone is concerned the lollar is too hot (i don’t find it hot at all but I generally play with a very soft attack)
This is a great deal just for the parts, let alone what is probably a very cool jazz Telecaster. Particularly if any of you guys live close enough to the seller to avoid shipping costs. Opportunity knocks.....

You should post a another price that is all inclusive and also post pictures of the back. A Flamed neck needs to be shown!

RJVB, this guitar was made by Herbert Todt, one of the great master makers of GDR. Todt made many fine carved archtops for other luthiers (or should I say resellers?), not only spectacular show...

My amp did something similar and I sat for ages tapping different bits of pickup and string to make it stop. I even attached a wire from the bridge to the jack socket as an extra earth. I eventually...
Yes, their first album was the best. Rod Stewart had his sights set on the toppermost of the poppermost and became a mediocre pop crooner rather than a great blues belter so Jeff would have left him...
I've been listening to "Shapes of Things" from that recording on a regular basis ever since my band played it in my high school's rock concert in 1972. Enduring.
I'm amused by this preciosity about headstock shapes. Epiphone has been all over the place, but so has Gibson, especially pre-war. Not to forget Yamaha (I love the SA2200 headstock, not others) or...
What, Donna Lee sportin' a cowboy hat and boots, maybe brandishing a whip to prod ya' all to play faster? That could be entertaining, and certainly a challenge to add country twang at a high speed....
Between the thinner semi-hollow Yamaha and the fully hollow archtop depth of the PM200, I can't imagine much similarity at all—past them each utilizing humbucker pickups (and those of surely...
