I built this guitar a few years ago when I was my Ed Bickert phase. The soldering and pickup installation was done at Midwood Guitar Studio in Charlotte. Guitar was also setup there.
The neck is a warmoth custom neck and cost about $600 alone. The body is a Fender Road Worn Telecaster Nitro and was purchased for $400. The neck pickup is a Lollar Imperial costing about $200. Hardware is upgraded as well, with Schaller M6 locking tuners which retail for $140. Altogether, this guitar is worth over $1,500. The only recommendation I would make is to switch out the bridge pickup to something more substantial, I didnt out anything too expensive in because I only used the neck pickup. Looks like a great deal for someone! Two questions… is the Lollar a normal-wind or a low-wind? and… do you have the tip for pickup switch? Thanks and best of luck with the sale!
I’ll throw in a KA HPAC pickup which was left over from a Comins GCS-16 I own, if anyone is concerned the lollar is too hot (i don’t find it hot at all but I generally play with a very soft attack)
This is a great deal just for the parts, let alone what is probably a very cool jazz Telecaster. Particularly if any of you guys live close enough to the seller to avoid shipping costs. Opportunity knocks.....
@tomv713
You should post a another price that is all inclusive and also post pictures of the back. A Flamed neck needs to be shown!

I am looking for a Moffa Mithra, I prefer to buy the "semi hollow" as opposed to the "semi solid" model, but would consider either one.
I am in Europe and could possibly travel to buy it if the...
Ok I am having second thought because of the stick-to-stomach comment.... so maybe 4?

New-ish because I have now had the guitar for a few months.
This is #55 of the Schorr guitars (and my #1 good 7-string guitar, but another interesting instrument is coming soon).
This one...
I ended up finding a PM120. I really love the quality (and sound) of the high end japanese archtops and really missed having a pm120. It sort of bridges the gap between something like a sadowsky...
I wonder if those who own a vintage Type 1 (1923-1924) or Type 2 (1925-1930) 16” L5s could provide me with some measurements. I see different #s online depending on where I look.

Didn’t known about this one yet. Interesting. Really like what I’m hearing here. Really like what I’m seeing, too.

Hi!
Sometimes it's possible to fill gaps in the melody with another melody.

Thanks for the reply.
The one Guild I'm interested in is the Starfire III Special with the Dynasonics pickups. Best of both worlds to me since I much prefer the cutaway and it has a Bigsby, which I...
Hey guys thank you very much for all your replies.
I am leaning towards position 2. I also bought the Dunlop straplock and will ask the tech to install it.
Will do NGD!

I love Ben Webster. The Holiday/Webster sessions with Barney Kessel on guitar is a legendary album. So much inspiration in there and Barney's performance is stellar, very melodic guitar playing.
