I need to sell my Brute eq, but have no idea what they go for these days. Turns out I'm not a pedal guy, and this unit has slept in a drawer for years.

I bought my pedal from Rasmus Brohammer in October 2020 and he billed me USD235 for the pedal. Hope this helps.

It is a great pedal and should selll at a premium. I think Ras Brohammer-love the surname-might have stopped making them.

    So $10,000 then?

Offers considered, but I live in the UK, so there are shipping costs to add on.

Ras is still making them, by the way...

I really like mine, paired with a SuperBlock and Toob.

Hard to describe, but there's a definite difference. It gives my sound more warmth, I would say – a little more of that fat warm jazz sound, that I can't seem to get with either the US or UK versions of the SB.

It gives the sound the distinctive "polytone" sound, assuming you are playing it through an amp that doesn't munge the signal too much. The pedal is designed to duplicate the pre-amp of the classic Polytone Minibrute amplifier.

I also use it with the SuperblockUS. It’s a great pre amp addition to shape the tone and opening up new possibilities that the SB doesn’t have by itself, like HP filtering, clean boost, fine tone control, output level and that Polytone character, normal or brite.
