The pressing of the top and back plate on this model, went on to be the template for the JP20, FG100 arched plates and was used up until the early 2000’s (or late 90’s).

Not that suppose that’s of much importance. Great guitar but ugly as sim.

I don't know if I'd say "ugly", but there are features that make it unattractive to me.

Just personal taste I guess.

Headstock shape, tuners, colour, star inlays in fingerboard. It's never been popular model for Ibanez. They usually go for much less than they should, so it's a general market appraisal.
P.s I don't think those tuners are original.

Just to inform you, I just sold this guitar today.

The new player recognized the sound and professional quality of this Ibanez jazz guitar. Because of this he offered a price that I was very happy with.

Apart from the money I am happy this guitar will continue to be played in its professional playing.
