    Anyone need a high-quality plank guitar?
    I have a few extras that I've put together. A few of them are available in the $675 - $1,150 range. I just have more than I want or need. Let me know if you want any of them. I'll post separately for each one, and add details on weight, configuration, measurements, and can send or post additional pix.

    I'd be happy to ship to the US, Canada, and anywhere else in the world for the cost of shipping. Payment via cash, Paypal F&F, IEMT (in Canada). Each guitar comes w
    ith a gigbag. I can provide a hardshell case if desired at extra cost.

    1998-2002 Fender Stratocaster American Deluxe - $1,150

    Here's a lovely American Stratocaster from back in Y2K times. It's in great shape, w/original parchment plastic on black. Original noiseless pickups, humbucker, wiring, medium-jumbo frets (in excellent condition), Floyd Rose/Fender bridge, Schaller/Fender tuners and so forth. Sounds great, plays great, looks great. The neck is from a 1998 American Strat and the body from a 1998-2002 American Deluxe SSH - note no roller nut or locking tuners - same era, same vibe, and everything fits perfectly. The guitar presents in excellent condition - plays great, sounds great. The back has some light surface scratches, as shown, easily buffed out if you want to bother. It comes with a matching trem cavity plate included (removed for photo).

    Some specs from Fender:
    -Neck Material: Maple
    -Fretboard Material: Rosewood
    -Fretboard radius: 9.5” / 241 mm
    -Frets: 22 Medium Jumbo
    -Nut: synthetic bone
    -Nut width: 1.6875” / 43 mm
    -Neck shape - "C"
    -Truss Rid: BiFlex
    -Micro Tilt
    -Tuners: Fender/Schaller Deluxe Cast/Sealed
    -String trees: EzY Glider
    -Hardware finish: chrome
    -Pickguard: 11 screw

    Tele partscaster - $599

    Still have way too many planks around here. This one:
    -total weight 8 lbs., but could easily weigh less (with a bridge and tuner swap)
    -old MIM body, has a few dents/scratches but is overall in very good condition - I can send detailed pix as required;
    -old, splittable Schaller neck humbucker (I could swap in any of several other pickups - tele, strat, P-90, humbucker);
    -Fender bridge pickup;
    -Gotoh 6-way
    modern bridge;
    -pickguard of you choice (parchment, b/w/b, white). I think the tortoise is sharp;
    -Fernandes 22-fret, rw-on-maple neck, medium-jumbo frets in excellent shape;
    -custom control plate w/angled 3-way switch;
    -modern "C" Fender-style neck profile;
    -nut width: 1.636” | 41.55mm
    -neck depth at 1st fret: .78” | 19.81mm
    -neck depth at 12th fret: .87” | 22.11mm
    -custom control plate w/angled 3-way switch;
    -Comes with a gig bag. I have hardshell cases as well, for more $$.

    Take it away for $599 plus shipping.

    Strat - hardtail - placeholder for now

    I've used this hardtail strat to try out a bunch of pickup sets, and necks. But I have two other hardtail strats, and don't need it.
    -Swamp ash body with universal route, custom-built by somebody who did a nice job. Weighs 4.35 pounds;
    -semi-gloss white over dark red relic finish;
    -available with any one of several pickup assemblies;
    -available with a neck similar to the one on the red hardtail strat in the post above this one - I also have a couple of other strat necks with rosewood boards available;
    -vintage (wide) hardtail bridge w/bent steel saddles.

    I always wanted a slab body strat! Is that routed for SSS or SSH configurations?

    big honking universal route. It’s going through some renovation right now. I’ll post some updated pix and explanation of its history, which is interesting. It’s from the 1970s.

    Ok. Every picture of every guitar you've ever posted has been with the guitar on that black chair. I have to ask : what the hell is holding up the neck ?

    Ho-ho-ho! post-Xmas bump, with a couple of changes and price adjustments. Buy a plankcaster and be happy! Buy one from me and we'll both be happy! Buy more than one from me and we'll talk!

    Hello there,

    I thought I had sent an email to you yesterday but there is no record of it that I can find. So excuse me if this is redundant!

    I'm looking for an electric, and had been thinking of a Strat but am not leaning towards a Telecaster, and so I have been directed by my dad to you and this forum. He is a big arch top guy, and really geeks out with the best of them.

    About my playing, to help decide on a model or set up:

    I am a long time novice player with a finger picking and strum style. I like to get clear tones and also make heavy sludgy sounds and a lot of far out spacey effects, delays and textures with pedals. I have had carpal tunnel issues so try not to bend the wrist much when playing, so I don't ever use my thumb for the base string, and try to stay in ergonomic positions as much as I can. I don't have much knowledge about set ups but interested in your advice/consult as it seems like you know your way around these guitars!

    Interested to know what you still have for sale and what if anything you recommend.

    I still have various loose pickups, pickguards and necks to swap stuff around on any of the partscasters. I'm done with putting them together for myself, and have more than I want or need, so I want to sell these, and sell off any other extra parts. I'll post a list for the extra bits - a few extra necks from Warmoth, Musikraft, Havok, Witkowski, and various other hardware bits.
