For sale is a John Hardy M1 Personal mic preamp. Excellent condition, sounds great with no issues. Used only in my smoke free home studio. $800.00 firm.

These are a very top shelf clean solid state preamp. These RARELY come up for sale as folks think so highly of them. I am only selling it as I have 4 other Hardy channels and don’t need this one anymore.

I’ve used this for recording acoustic stringed instruments and horns. It makes every mic, including ribbons, sound as good as they can. While these are not cheap, you can very much hear the quality in everything recorded through them. If you are looking for a clean, straight gain sound, these are as good as anything out there.

A new M1 personal will cost you $995.00 with a waiting period. I had to wait 3 months when I got this one several years ago. You can have this one in excellent shape for less and no waiting. Look up “John Hardy Preamp” to find the web site and the specs for this.
This preamp pairs VERY well with the Audix A127 SDC mic I am selling.
