I've been well pleased with my Guild Savoy X-150. Mine is a 2003 made in Corona. A nice used one pops up now and then and they're very comfortable to play. Usually reasonable as well. Nice tone too....
Couple of notable Gibsons not playing jazz. There's many others. Scotty Moore, Steven Stills, Chuck Berry, Bill Haley to name a few. Everything old is new again at some point.
That is really great Keith. It’s amazing you remembered that. You guys had some real beauties come through that store. I remember talking to your brother a while back about a beautiful Heritage JS...
Yeah, i'm not sure what was going on with the original one I had. Was it just my amp that was too dark? Did my tastes change? Or was it really the guitar? Hard to say. I even changed the pickups in...

This is hilarious! (To me anyway) I will practice and do the fast one too.
I switched from strats to ES' in 2015. After lots of playing on it by the time I brought it out to gig it wasn't a problem. I'm in it for the humbuckers and the slinky bending. And a Gibson has...
We've got a few brass bands in the area (not really the same thing I suppose :) ), plus an actual big band in Reims.
