Has the Tonex taken capture/profiling to a new level? They also have hardware for taking captures on the road.

not sure about that. The helix tone is superb. Robben himself could play through a peavey bandit and sound great.

Chris Cain has always used a Music Man 1x12 RD50 with no pedals or effects. And his tone (which is within RF's signature tonal range although maybe even a bit smoother and fatter) is beautiful. But live in a smaller venue, he's a bit loud when the amps in its sweet spot for him.
