New interview from the Dr. Jazz Talks interview series, this time BRUCE SAUNDERS – amazing guitarist and composer, one of the best and probably most underrated jazz guitarists since the 1990s…talk about Bruce's beginnings and influences, being a bandleader, playing with Michael Cain, Jack DeJohnette, Alan Ferber and others, the US jazz scene, his improvisational and compositional approaches, etc…

]Great interview. WHAT A HUMBLE guy and what a GREAT musician. May his tribe increase. I mean he says little about his own music and little about his style of education. I took his online Berklee course and it was FANTASTIC. And it was great that u talked about his solo/looping performances.. in particular don't miss listening to his "Trinkle Tinkle" performances (does it on a Gibson ES175 archtop and an acoustic.. yes a Collings OM1 Julian Lage sig.). Bruce is the best.. love the humor as well.
