Interesting new project by UK guitarist Nigel Price - some Wes Montgomery tunes given a different treatment:

It's a great album!
I hosted a Zoom masterclass a few months ago with Nigel, looking at the music and playing of the music of Wes Montgomery. If there's anyone with the knowledge of Wes necessary to do this sort of album well, it's Nigel!
The one gig that I got to attend between lockdowns last year was Nigel's quartet playing these arrangements at Ronnie Scott's on 22nd October. The live-stream video is still available to watch:

No, Nigel, no.

Yes, Nigel, yes.

Anything that keeps Wes’ music alive, I’m all for it!

Thanks for this - really enjoyed listening to it
I was only dimly aware of Nigel before but what a great player
I would like to hear him to a 'Kenny Burrell Re-Imagined' album by way of follow up
