I don't know if this is a hoax or not, but in either case, listening to a little Scotty Moore seems in order.

There have been few great vocalists without a great rhythm section. Listen to the early Sun Elvis recordings. Scottie's guitar just jumps out--it frames Elvis' voice and pushes it out front. In fact, you can't imagine Elvis without Scottie and the boys.
Scottie was a Texas swing player and apparently started the first sessions playing more complex Merle Travis stuff until Sam Phillips told him to play fewer notes. It was just the right approach, because there was nothing like those first recordings. They hit the world like a bombshell.
Other random thoughts...Albert Lee is a pretty good harmony singer, Mark Knopfler is a master of the Strat but should play more archtop, and the bass sounds great but the look is ALL WRONG for rockabilly.

RIP Scotty.
Growing up and hearing that magic sounding guitar in 1955 and '56 as an 11 year-old , had a lasting effect on my obsession with music and gradually resulted in my love of jazz, chord melody, gospel, R&B, older country music, standards, bossa nova and some classical music. I still enjoy a retrospective listen to those gems of the rocking '50's as they were earthy, spontaneous and unpretentious - I always felt the artists, especially the early Elvis , simple enjoying the freedom to let it rip, as it were. Listen to this and as they say in court, "I rest my case !"

RIP. Truly a Rock'n'roll hero, at the time when rock'n'roll was a swinging music.

The world would have been a much poorer place without Scotty, DJ, Bill & Elvis!

There is another thread on this. Perhaps the moderators can merge them?
