Barry Harris / Oliver Nelson - Dom7/Diminished, Forward Motion Chord Stabs

Chord Stabs are punctuated chord shots that establish rhythm and harmony. These are useful to interject into
your solo for colors and rhythmic, forward motion.

Inspired by Hoe Down which was inspired by Barry Harris. This is a cool way to play 13th chords in minor 3rds
and with forward motion. This grooves a lot harder than playing these on the beat. It takes some practice to get
it right and not turn the beat around. Listen carefully with the drums and play along with a metronome and
a drum program like DrumGenius to get the right feel for these.

The first example is just moving G13 in minor 3rds up and down the neck. It's actually G13, Bb13, Db13, E13
but they are all part of the diminished scale and can be used interchangably.

Despite the notated chords, all these examples can be used over G7...

The 2nd example uses a 13th chord and a tritone triad and is much the same as the first except it alternates
between the original 13th chord and the tritone triad so you get:
    G13-Db triad, Bb13-E triad, Db13-G triad, E13-Bb triad
