I took a different turn this time and tried out a free tempo version of this tune. I love playing in time with as much swing as I can muster, but every once in a while I like the opportunity to ignore the metronome.

@Mick-7 - Thanks! I play with my finger pads -- I like the tone much better when I play with a pick, but I am not as dexterous in that setup. I have never gotten to trying to use my nails.

During the same recording session, I also had another take where I took a more mid-tempo swing approach. I didn't mean to upload it, but here it is -- hope you enjoy and please let me know which one you like better! There are going to be a lot of similarities since I recorded these virtually back-to-back.
