I like the idea of guitar method books but the fact of the matter is I have gotten very little out of most of them. My suggestion is to try Chris Whiteman’s Patreon channel for $3 a month. Cancel anytime. Plenty of blues lessons on there and you get to watch and listen and often a backing track to practice the ideas is available as well as a cleanly notated PDF. Small digestible lessons.

I also recommend Joe Pass’ Hot Licks DVD The Blue Side of Jazz…you can buy it or rent it for $4
