I was recently made to play something "Jazzy" against a very simple Rock type progression in a minor key. Now this often means Aoelian and not Dorian, Harmonic or Melodic minor. I don't really follow CST, so I drag out my lines patterns and devices for the relative Major and adjust accordingly.

All well and good until I realise how strange it all is, given that I'm so used to using anything BUT Aeolian against minor chords or vamps. So I was wondering, what are some reasonably well known Jazz tunes that feature the min b6 sound?

Aolean is the sixth mode, or the set of prioritized tonal chord tones of the six chord.
That's natural minor. We're not talking plagal gregorian chant but if you want the sound of Aolean, that's in a very real way, every time you're playing natural minor. You know, minor third, flat 13 kind of sound?
