Well, the second module certainly has a lot of work to get through. We have to memorise ten different ways of decorating the V7 arpeggios of the first module, and that's just the start. Lots more involved, but I haven't had time to look ahead much. Head down...get to work...Christmas is cancelled!

Really enjoying the course. The Bebop Calisthenics alone are worth more than the price of admission - phenomenal value. And I think Richie presents concept extremely well. Holidays begin tomorrow...

Got through all the introductions and set-up in Module 1 last night. Really does seem to be jammed full of content. Ritchie mentioned that this is a college level course. That should be all I need to convince the wife to leave me alone for a few hours a day. "Sorry honey, got to get my school work done".

I am currently working with the etudes and just noticed that Richie recommends Band in a Box to play them- seems like it offers the ability to change aspects of the files - what other advantage does it offer over simply using the mp3's? is it worth the $130 as a learning/practice tool?

I've got the books only can some one give me an idea of how far goes or where module two starts? I'm trying to get feel for how big a module is.

Whatever, not important just curious.

I have played guitar for years, but not very knowledgable in the make up of what I'm playing... If that makes sense.
Thanks.

There's a lot of attention given to intervals, rather than the name of the notes. So, you should have a good grasp of root, 3rd, 5th, 7th at least. These are the target notes, to which are added chromatic approach notes and similar devices.
