Weirdly enough in my case I find it really difficult to throw in a lot of slurs at higher tempos rather than mostly just fingerpicking. It can get pretty confusing having to mix the two things often
Do you have any clips of you playing jazz on it? It's so hard to find people who use these for that purpose, and my gut tells me they'd be fantastic.
It is a dark, rainy day here. To brighten the atmosphere during a rainy day I like to watch this clip of Mike and Leni Stern out on a pretty day. They both seem relaxed and their genuine selves. It...
I have one of the Epi JP II Pro's from the last year they were made, and wouldn't hesitate to recommend it.

I apologize if I sounded like it was a competition. I was only stating how so many cite Leo Fender and Ted McCarthy, but do not know about or acknowledge Paul Bigsby. As far as who invented the solid...
I lean towards the sound of set pickups, so my gut instinct would be to go with the JP, but those have never been my favorite. The D'Angelicos are quite nice and that's a pretty good price. ...
If you do decide, I bet Jason at Krivo could make you something. Dude's great to talk to about possibilities.
D'Angelico is a higher end guitar and it'll cost you less in the long run. Once you get more experience if you move onto another jazz box, you can sell D'Angelico for the same price or more. JP is...
