The more time I spend with these two guitars, the more I appreciate them. The 594 is just ridiculous and the best electric guitar I’ve ever played in my life (so far). It has a sound unlike anything...
I prefer set-in pickups to floaters, so I of these two would favor the Epiphone. I prefer 16" bodies to 17" bodies, so there again I would favor the Epiphone. There are other brands and...
I am afraid I do.lol I am hesitant in downloading. I am not a “clean” or academic player. Never took a lesson. My grandmother showed me a few chords and how to tune and away I went. I play by ear and...
That’s a thing too. It’s always a balance between efficiency and consistency. Sometimes it might be more efficient to throw an a finger in or to slur or something, but as tempos get faster, it can...
Weirdly enough in my case I find it really difficult to throw in a lot of slurs at higher tempos rather than mostly just fingerpicking. It can get pretty confusing having to mix the two things often

You have a great guitar. I don't use mine half enough. Here is a great video with a 55 which I believe is stock. Good tone and good player. https://youtu.be/5OpfWZmQTCs?si=T-nfrNUWJfvwWSd8
Thinking more about playing slow and fast and how they are not just a matter of higher metronome settings. Something you can play slowly that are very hard to ever play fast. Playing fast requires...
