The Emperor Strikes Back - A ('57 Classic) Sequel

Took the electronics out of the 89 Emperor only to discover that this underwound 57 Classic has bridge pickup pole spacing (the SKU from Sam Ash has "BG" in it, which leads me to believe there's a neck option?).

Specifically, the Emperor's neck pickup looks noticably narrower than the new 57 Classic, which is similar to its bridge pickup. Do folks just get by with 50mm and not fuss over this or what?

I don't envy your precision measuring equipment, but boy do I envy the guitar! Unless the top and bottom E sound weaker than the rest, even after adjusting pole screws, I'd not be worried.
