    This was it for me. Back when I did Gypsy gigs being able to switch from rhythm to soloing in a single beat was great

    I like volume pedal for the hands free changes in volume and because because an active pedal change the tone less than the volume knob. Must have a knob to set minimum volume though - I think it's harder to turn the right amount down on a volume pedal than on a guitar where I know that 7 or whatnot is my default rhythm volume. Heel down = rhythm is workable
