Thanks for inspiration! I've been hovering over whether to participate the Helsinki Tonefest guitar show in May or not. Will talk to the organizers tomorrow. Just got the idea of a product promotion, with part of the proceeds for every cab sold directed to UNICEF, for the benefit of Ukrainian children. My wife's been a UNICEF volunteer since retirement. I'm a monthly donor, and my campaign in 2022 (50€ to UNICEF for every cab sold in March that year) collected 850€. In fact, the current campaign promises 50€ for every Metro GP/GP+ sold in March-April, and 100€ for samples wearing the Ukrainian colors on the four felt-ported sound holes in the backplate.
I've tried to get a duo thing when someone comes back that they mostly do solo acoustic acts. No bites yet. I think I gotta make a stupid website, with a stupid EPK. The business side of music is...
Sorry to hear that. I love vintage German acoustic guitars. In fact, the archtop I own is a 1959 Rodebald Hoyer “Samba” 17” acoustic archtop made in the Bavarian region. It’s a wonderful instrument....

but...
I own two guitars. A Mule steel tricone and 1959 Rodebald Hoyer “Samba” acoustic archtop. These are the two best playing and sounding guitars I have ever owned. My keepers.
I've owned a few over 60 years of playing! 21 amplifiers and 15 guitars- surprisingly small list of guitars, I tended to find the ones I wanted to play, and then keep them until I wasn't using them...
I use my acoustic Mule steel tricone for everything I play, including jazz. A nice sounding acoustic tricone is hard to beat the sound of to my ears. If I wasn’t to add a little something different,...
to me GC is a corporate idea that did not include low pay employees who thought working there would be cool,
and found out it was not.
My most recent trip to GC was to obtain an Ibanez super...
Well I searched and it said pleks don't round the fret ends so I would say try to find a good luthier. But you said there are only 2 in your area, the suck guy and an ok guy, so I understand your...
