The nicest sounding Guild I’ve played was a Ghost label X500 with white Franz (I think) pups. I’m still haunted by the sound.Originally Posted by DawgBoneI can never find it on a youtube search so I'll let you slide this time (heh heh) if you send the video link to my inbox or at least just post it up on the forum. My wife also loves old Guilds so who knows one day maybe I can talk her into getting me a nice X-700 just so I can play Moonlight in Vermont for her around the house. But I gotta start small so I need that link brother!

Thanks for posting this. I was wondering about exactly this question lately (which is sort of silly since I don't even own an archtop). Comparing the two, I like the sound of the original better....
Compared to the Reverb listing, my Terada-made Broadway Elitist has flame maple on the back and sides, octagonal white pointed knobs like early electric Epiphones, a tune-o-matic saddle, and the...
This is not for a guitar that has a regular round soundhole I presume? I've noticed several acclaimed classical guitarists use a soundhole tuner lately, barely visible from the audience. I'm...
Thats after he rides down the line of screaming jazzers, clattering his broadsword off their spears.

Which he says just after he rips a more epic chorus on Donna Lee than any mortal man had heard before. At least I think that’s what happens, it’s been twenty years. Sent from my iPhone using...
In the playback as I listening these pickups work differently the humbuckers. The Heritage D'a is a brighter sounding guitar acoustically and sounds very different than the Barker. The Barker is a...
