Ibanez AF125

I have an Ibanez AF125.
I just would like to say that the wood bridge provided with the guitar is a big improvment in comparison with the tune o matic bridge.
It improves a lot the acoustic sound.

Of course , Flatwound strings is also a good thing on this guitar.

It remains that it is a electric guitar, and that it must be so played.
Electronic is in my opinion very reliable and of good quality.

Tallsomone, thanks for the insight in your luthiers experience. I don't doubt his knowledge but you sure make it sound like there's no good sounding Jazz Box out there that wasn't built after those guidelines. I still think that a lot of satisfaction can be drawn from the cheaper stuff.
