Who needs strings and pickups?! It's beautiful as is!

Wow, it’s amazing. I love the finish. Bet it sounds incredible. What kind of strings do you use? Amp?

I’ve been lusting after 330 style guitars. Currently I play a 335 with TI flats through a Bud. I love the sound, but would love that extra breath that a fully hollow guitar has. The Collings is at the top of my list!

I’d love to have a Bud! I generally run it through a Headstrong Lil King 1x12 or a 66 Princeton. I use 10-46 Elixer Optiweb.

Were those build photos sent to you by Collings?

Those Headstrong amps are really really nice! I have a few vintage Fender amps at home that I love (Pro Reverb, Bassman, Deluxe, and a tweed Super) but they never seem to make it to jazz gigs because of volume. The Bud sounds great at all volumes. I bet a Princeton style amp is perfect for jazz….i can be a bit of a Fender amp snob, but Ive always thought the Princeton was Fender amp perfection!

Collings makes such great guitars for a relatively large manufacturer. Enjoy your new guitar. I'm very happy I didn't sell my 2016 Eastside Jazz LC Deluxe which I tried to sell a few times. I can say from owning some of the best guitars around (Buscarino, Andersen, others) that this Collings is built just as well as the finest luthier-built guitars...they're really as good as they come.
