At least Epiphone is making archtop guitars again.
Can’t say that about Gibson.
The Epiphone Elitist line would be great to see again.
Those Japan made were quite stellar and still very affordable.
With reference to the arch, I recall my Elitist Broadway had a slightly more pronounced arch, and more pronounced recurve, and over all a more beautiful (to me) curve, than even my L5ces did. It was a stunning guitar.
A beautiful instrument! I bought a 18" Excalibur from Frans some years ago and find it to be a very good sounding guitar.
