No I believe you're right acoustically ....Originally Posted by chris32895Going through a bunch of amps looking for something simple for in-bedroom practice has really taught me that certain amps play better in certain rooms than others. I think the closed back 10" of the BlockDock was too much for my little room. Could never really get enough volume and it was either always too bassy or too thin. This little amp is just right. I think the open back allows some of the bass frequencies to spill out rather than shoot at and bounce around my walls (with a closed). I don't know much about acoustics so not sure if I'm just spouting out nonsense

Actually if it seems I’m a bit closed off to new info sometimes it’s usually because I’ve reached capacity. It doesn’t take much. The three part quartals have been floating in and out of my practice...

Thank you so much for your kind words JazzIsGood! This version from Grant Green is really amazing! I wish you a great Sunday! Jose
I use the d'addario clip tuner but the tinny one, is the PW-CT-12 Micro Headstock Tuner. I played many times in different conditions and for many concerts with only this tuner and I really loved it!...
By the way Christian I am seeing Shirley Smart (cellist) next week at the Watermill, I believe she was on one of your albums? Sorry a bit OT but you never know, she might play Donna Lee - I have...

jazz was so much more vibey in the old days… wouldn’t get Berklee grads doing that. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Nice tone, too... it has that Attila Zoller vibe to it (in my ears), maybe just a little darker than his but similar attack and consistency. Attila used a pickup of his own design. ...
Yeah, that's the same thing that all the people said who went to see the sham Guess Who.
I have the same problem with this book too but only because of all the cool sounds within it. I hear something then my ear wants to go somewhere and I follow it ( I really should start recording...
