I swore I’d never do another NGD.
But just when I think I’m done buying archtop’s, no, they’re dragging me back in.
The SS JH Deep is nearly the identical dimensions of former ES175’s I’ve owned.
It has a depth of 3.4375 inches.
Action on this guitar is superbly low, just like I prefer it.
It plays so easily, and every note just sings.
The ebony fretboard isn’t as bright sounding as I’d anticipated. But the TI 11’s have to go. Time for TI GB 0.14’s.
Thanks for sharing. Now, this time I swear I’m done!

Very nice. And I must say you sure know how to take pictures of guitars.

You’ve got me reminiscing…

Surprisingly, I got TI GB 0.14’s on without any hassle whatsoever. That was a blessing!

Damn. Maybe I should have bought this.
You didn't have a choice. Amazing deal and a great guitar. Glad to see it in your possession.

Congrats 2bornot2bop ! I almost pulled the trigger myself, and I’ve already got one. I’ve got some GHS Martino 15s(?) on it right now and it’s balanced, easy to play, and has a great voice.

But obviously I needed some incentive to purchase a used one. And in the flesh, the guitar is a master work of build quality. And in person, not some web page that doesn’t reveal anything, the guitar is extremely well built, and the electronics are a strong suit too.
But the important thing, which has yet to be discussed, is how acoustic the guitar is, well, at least the Deep Body model.
It’s very acoustic! You don’t get this acoustic value from the real thing. And my thought was, you shouldn’t for each is a different guitar.
Thanks to all for your congratulations!
