Ibanez AF2000 incoming -- NOT!

Ouch, after much searching for this highly backordered guitar, I called GC who said even though the site says backorderd, they had one in the warehouse.

Ahh, git it now I thought!

(Returned my newly received GB10SE...)

Even wrote emails back and forth with sales guy
My email said AF2000 but at some point he started writing back AS2000.

Of course my brain auto corrected to AF2000 and so it went.

Paid with CC and all was well until I got the email saying the AS2000 was getting ready to ship!

All good....!

Wait..... the picture doesn"t look right.
The number is wrong.....

Guess I will wait .....

Ibanez thinks July / August.

Staying away from other sites like Reverb etc.....

Oh well. Still have my Sadowsky and PM2. FOR NOW

You can play some Schofield whilst you wait for the AF2000.

Ibanez announced a while ago that 2022 shipments are going to be slow and spotty till the end of ‘22. (You can reference the announcement to dealers at ibanezrules.com. Might want to contact Rich he lists one in stock : IBANEZ AF2000BS AF2000

Ouch! 13 months since ordering mine and not yet arrived... still beyond the horizon!
Can't seem to find a reasonable explanation... looks like this is the hardest ever to get guitar!
Shop says it does not depend on them ! It's a relativey new model! Why is that?? Anybody else still waiting for one?
