The only 2 335 based albums I own. Mainly because it was a real hit, and Larry Carlton is such a great player.

I'm a big fan of "Mr. 335" and admire most of is playing over the years on that specific guitar. Also, Lee Ritenour has played some great jazz on a 335 from time to time.
That said, my favorite guitar to drool over in those old 1960's Gibson catalogue was the the more ornate ES355. Oh my, what a beautiful instrument. BB King, Chuck Berry and Otis Rush all slung a 355 during their careers, but according to the late 60's Gibson Catalogues, this upscale model was marketed towards jazz guitarists!
