I use v-picks and don't notice any chirp. They produce, to my ears a louder sound, darker sound than other picks I have tried.

I was going to say! I happen to like Bud (the US clone) well enough (the original Budweiser is hard to find here too) but most of those IPAs (wherever they come from) seem to be made for (and by?)...
Woodworking note: that won't tell you if it's solid or laminate. The correct way to make any veneer glue up dictates the same veneer be used on both faces for stability. It's called a balanced panel....
It's only in the past 50 years that the globalists have designated "Nationalism" as a bad word. That doesn't mean I wouldn't buy a guitar from Japan or South Korea. However, as a US citizen I am...

None of the older jazz guitarists I saw in concert played standing up, i.e., Barney Kessel, Kenny Burrell, Joe Pass, Herb Ellis, Pat Martino. But the jazz fusion guys and blues players I saw did:...

It’s probably just hosted in a country that doesn’t care to prosecute.
Hard to tell. The post spacing is very close but no idea if the post diameter is too big. Original ABR1 posts are smaller in diameter than most replacements. I contacted the seller to find out. ...
Attached is someone's PhD dissertation re: Bill Frisell's playing on Paul Motian's On Broadway recordings. It includes quite a few transcriptions. Appendix A: Solo Transcriptions: “All the Things...
