Comins GCS-1 Quick Review & Feedback

I love the neck on the Ibanez AS/AM line (as they have some thickness to them), where it sounds like the Comins has a pretty thin neck.

Depends what you mean by thin. I posted these measurements of my GCS-1 neck on another thread some time ago. The depth is pretty close to a modern American fender tele.

Nut width: 43.27mm
1st fret depth: 21.50 (.846")
12th fret depth: 23.85 (.939")
12th fret width: 53.75

Interesting. I asked Bill Comins about the neck specs earlier this week, and he said (while they can vary slightly from guitar to guitar), it's generally .825 at the first fret and .895 at the 12th.
