Carvin BX250 and Gallien Krueger MB200

Any word on how the BX250 and the BX500 differ in tone? How does the graphic EQ interact with the parametric EQ on the BX500.

I recall you using the Line 6 POD for direct recording for years with much success. Why did you decide to leave it behind in favor of simple solid state amps?

I still have the Pod HD. I bought the amps mostly for playing rather than recording but I've been experimenting with my recording methods ever since I got the Archtop to try to capture a bit more of what I hear in the room. In the end reprogramming the Pod may turn out to be the right answer for that, but I like to record a lot and tinkering and experimenting is a constant part of that process for me.

and no, I don't know anything about the 500.
