EVO vs Stainless Steel fretwire

After spending some more time playing on stainless steel fretwire (.090" wide anyway) I can say there does seem to be a high pitched "ping" to the attack of the sound that I don't hear with Evo wire or nickel. I don't find it objectionable, and I can't say if that sound transfers through the amp to the point where the audience hears it. But as you might have seen mentioned in internet reviews of it elsewhere - it is there, at least to my perception. If you're looking for a completely smooth and mellow attack you might notice the difference.
