Even the ones you don’t expect to be Jazzy or know Jazz will surprise you if you get a moment to hang out away from a gig. Blues Recording artists and touring acts play what they are known for in public, but they are usually well versed in all styles of blues. Sometimes a blues rock guy might play jazzy blues better than the guy known for jazzy blues, but I doubt their record company wants them to don a sharkskin suit, alligator boots and use an archtop to tour on their newest recording of Jump Blues standards.

Not mentioned yet so far, but I'd say Oscar Moore, Tiny Grimes, Slim Gaillard, and Carl Hogan (Louis Jordan's guitar player) are T-Bone's equal, though they lacked his showmanship, and of course Charlie Christian, a close friend of T-Bone's. BB is probably his greatest heir (early on, BB basically copied T-Bone). Among current guys channeling jump/T-bone jazz-flavored blues, I'm really digging Rick Holmstrom.

Some great ones mentioned here guys.
    Another nod to T-Bone.
May I refer you to the little chromatic lick @ 3:40

    That's Charlie Christian to a "T"

Didn't T Bone jam with/was mates with Charlie Christian?
