He worked at Gibson for decades then went out on his own building and repairing. He could fix almost anything that could be fixed. He worked at age 83 until a few days before he died.

He will be missed.

Very sad news. Pete literally laid his talented hands on many of the Heritage, Gibson (and other brands) as a builder, restorer and repairer of fine instruments. I hope his legacy continues for many years.

Pete was true master luthier. He was an expert at restoring guitars and could make a player guitar look like it was factory fresh. He fixed a gouge in a neck that I tried to repair myself. I cannot tell where the repair was made. Looks like it was never damaged. Rest in peace, Pete.
