(Mostly) music related newspaper clippings from mid-70s

Not sure if anyone will find these of interest, but it was fun for me while going through a box of pictures and memorabilia and found these clippings from my youth.
I ran across Doug Niedt's name on the forum the other day, which is what prompted the post. My wife had class guitar with him when she was pursuing her Bachelor of Music Therapy at UMKC.
I was at the Pat Metheny concert, as well as his performance the next year with his nascent Pat Metheny Group.

I have more if there's interest.

I attended the Kenton clinic a couple of years in high school. Was hopelessly out of my depth.
