Hi all!
I have this tune I played with a band some 30 years ago and for the life of me can't remember the name of.
Throughout the years I've attempted to track down what song it was but have been unsuccessful every time.
How I remember it
I believe the track is fairly modern. I would guess from the 90s or later in the genre of jazz/rock fusion.
The track is an instrumental with an electric guitar playing the melody line.
(My guess is that the performing guitarist is also the one who wrote the piece.)
The song starts with an intro where a synth pad is playing long chords and the guitar is playing 8th notes of 2 alternating notes from the chords. I think the intro is 8 bars.
Then this part comes in and is the part I remember the best.
I'm not sure of the key.
Does this sound familiar to anyone?

Was there supposed to be a clip attached here?

Hi Jimmy and thanks for replying.
Tempo?
Two alternating notes? What interval?
I posted the part I remember the best in musical notation. That's the most accessible form imho.

Hey Jimmy. I don't get your sarcasm. Are you not able to see the image in my initial post?

Strange. I can see it.
I tried again at the top of this post. Also, here's a link to an online host.

EDIT: Do you see the text "Can't remember the title of this tune-2023-05-22-14-12-13-window-png"? If so, can you right-click that text and select "Reload image" or similar?

Now that it's linked I can see it...so I played it.
And sorry, don't know it. Maybe the very last phrase is a little familiar? What instrument would have been playing it?

Thank's Mr. Beaumont, I appreciate your effort.
I believe the melody line was played by an electric guitar and that this guitarist is both the composer and main artist of the album where the track is featured.
I wish I had more to go on.

I hope you can find it.
Good luck
NOTE: Something strange is going on with the site. I made a screen capture of the clip provided as I've done countless times on JG but somehow no matter what I do, I can't get this file to attach and display within a post.
Has anyone else noticed the forum's displays being buggy when it comes to screen captures and attachments?

Dirk and administrators: This is a PNG file that does not show up within a post. It should show a graphic of a notational image but this is all that can be seen.

Here...
Did an image search of the score on the search engine Yandex
The first four hits were all Chinese, I translated one to English
Operative words associated with the music were "Mint Candy"
Checked YouTube...
