And this is why we need to support Mom and Pop stores! Eventually there will only be Amazon or similar. No support from these places, just cheapest price!

What’s the issue?

Ramjac. My friend Kurt had me buy stock in the late ‘70’s.

FWIW, I have always had the best service from SW.

So these aren't the same people who bought and raped Guitar Center? Not that that makes a difference when you're talking about private equity firms....

We've covered this before. The 60s and 70s are over. Today's young want automated instant gratification, not practice time on an instrument. And that hip-hop garbage is almost all rhythm, and repetitive rhythm at that.
Given the above, it's a pretty crowded field with demand being what it is (or should I say, isn't). Guitar Center, Musicians Friend, Sweetwater, Sam Ash......
One wonders if buying them at all was a risk not worth taking.

I've been very happy dealing with Sweetwater over the years, when I was unable to get what I wanted locally. This makes me uneasy.

I received an email notice this week from my usual SW rep asking if I needed anything. I hope that's not a bad sign.
One time they sent me the wrong case with an instrument, I offered to send it back on my dime for the right one, they said "just keep it" and they sent me the correct one.
