I've been on a steady diet of these podcast: Guitarwank, No Guitar is Safe and Everyonelovesguitar. I've also enjoyed Jazz Inspired with Judy Carmichael and archived Marian McPartland's Piano jazz show in which the latter two will sometimes have a guitar guest. Of course, enjoy hearing other types of players talk.
I'm looking for the next good long-form interview show that is more jazz focused, hopefully, with some guitar playing (doesn't have to be some talk and lots of performance) but maybe geeking out on some jazz music ideas/lines or jams (No Guitar is Safe is great about players noodling some) and good stories/bio stuff. A decent insightful interviewer is great to have as well. Like to hear the variety of guitarist on Everyonelovesguitar but would like to hear more jazz-oriented folk.
Any suggestions? Thanks!

I like the format already after couple of sample listens! Thanks for the suggestion, Tal!
Might as well share this while I'm thinking of informal podcast jams. Guitarwank avoids them and casual music tips for the most part, but here's an exception with (new to me) guitar specialist Chico Pinheiro and Bruce Forman talking bossa nova and actually playing...a thing I'm always hoping to hear from this show.

Curious...does anyone know of a specific podcast or episodes within a podcast show that are more about traditional early jazz guitar/swing/early bebop styles or current players dwelling in this style? Nerding out on Eddie Lange, Charlie Christian, Barney Kessel, Django (deep dives about Allan Reuss or George Van Eps perhaps) talk or acoustic archtop or early electric player techniques, vintage gear? Maybe interviews with guitarist like Jonathan Stout or Matt Munisteri? I've come across great interviews with these guys but they are guest on more broader jazz talk shows. This is probably too niche but maybe it's out there. Suggestions here?

The You'll Hear It Podcast • Daiily Jazz Advice • You'll Hear It
You'll Hear It is my favorite. 15 minutes, everyday. It's two piano players, but most topics are for jazz players and students in general.

I'm a big fan of the 5049 Podcast for avant leaning interviews. The Third Story with Leo Sidran has a lot of interesting interviews, too. Both hosts are very good interviewers, which I find is really important to me.

Hi Edward. I saw your post and was wondering if you had tried the Jazz Guitar Life podcast? I've been doing the podcasts for the past year or so and currently have 12 episodes up featuring the likes of Dave Stryker, Jon Herrington, Bobby broom, Grant Geissman and others.
You can find them over at Podcast – Jazz Guitar Life or on all major podcast platforms.
Hope this is ok to put on here...if not, of course, please delete.
Thanks all and take care.
