Then slide that grip up 2 frets (making a Amaj13), then strake (?) the frets 12 frets above that to get artificial harmonics on the Amaj13.

I just got done transferring an old lp to digital by Vic Cenicola. I forget who Vic played with but I know he spent some time wit some serious players like Claudio Roditi. He's a regular on the NJ scene. Real nice guy.
Anyway, he uses standard voicings and KICKS butt. I'm going to ask him if it's ok to post some of the stuff off his lp

Ok how about one with a 'Van eps" barre

I'm still trying to do those chords where you use your thumb on the wrong side of the neck (reaching under and fretting the treble strings). My classical guitar teacher must be spinning in his grave, or at least scratching a rasgueado on the casket lid.

Am6 (used to end my arrangment of "mahna de carnivale)
x 0 10 9 7 12
(A, C, E, F#, E)
how about this rootless C9 (with a sixth too, but i'd hesitiate to call it a 13th...)
x 7 7 3 3 3
(E, A, Bb, D, G)
and i love this move
Amaj7: x 12 11 9 9 9 (A, C#, E, G#, C#)
to Bm9: x 12 11 7 7 7 (A, C#, D, F#, B )

Wanted a chord for 'Street in Singapore'. Am playing it in A. Dont know if it's standard or commonly used, but came up with this . . . 544455 Is this A6/9? It has a lovely mellow oriental ring to it. Incidentley, what do you guys use on you finger joints? Should l try W.D.40?

Yes, l agree that the classical position is best for playing and safest . . and one of those things which requires discipline. O.k. I'll give it a go!

These are for the 10th fret barre or higher. If you can do them at the lower frets, well thats ok too

OW! Got the correct chart of the first one on my e-mail. Can just about hold them down on the 11th and 12th frets! Dont think my fretboards long enough for the first one to ring clear on all notes (would need to cut my cutaway off! Can manage the second one on the 12th fret, love the sound too! What are they? Thanks for the input . . didnt know sadists were into jazz tho! Best wishes Regi
