Big time interest Steve. Very much appreciated!!! Beautifully done. What a perfect piece for solo guitar. I dig you're layin' out that bass line throughout.

I'm working on the notation for my version of Gentle Rain. I'll post when done.

The way I approached my arranging of the chord-melody of this tune was:
    1. Play the melody up an octave from where written.
    2. Work out comping.
    3. Try to put the comping and melody together.

I've attached the notation for the comping voicing I use, and an MP3 of the comping.

I think once you see the finished notation, you'll see how this all works.

By accident, I misread the notation in measure 8 and played a C#7 with the D natural on top (b9), and it sounded better to me leading into the F#m7 in measure 10!!!

I need to work my way through it - write all versions I had -
on one line and understand the chord subs. I want to play it
    next month in jam session.

Thanks - nice slow (86bpm) backup track too. Cm version - similar to New Real Book 3.
