I would also check out Frank Vignola's DVD on Truefire { Jazz Up Your Blues - Comping & Soloing - Video Guitar Lessons - TrueFire TV }. I got it for Christmas and its another DVD worth considering for your library.
I've seen Frank several times live and he is not only a great guy, but an amazing guitarist/teacher. It's a great night to listen to Bucky Pizzarelli and Frank Vignola play together. Check Frank's stuff on Youtube.

I signed up for a truefire membership specifically because of Fareed's two instructional videos. It was totally worth it for anyone who may be wondering.
