Welcome to my 591st solo fingerstyle jazz guitar arrangement video on YouTube, the classic jazz standard "A Foggy Day" composed by George Gershwin, with lyrics by Ira Gershwin and performed by countless, not the least Frank Sinatra, Ella Fitzgerald, Louis Armstrong, George Benson, Sarah Vaughan, Tony Bennett and even David Bowie and Willie Nelson! This is my solo guitar arrangement and one of my oldest going back decades. Although I didn't play back then with much confidence or clarity, the basics are still present in my playing today. I hope you like it!

The feel was great.
(I'm new here so, please don't jump to conclusions ...)
Can you play in a similar 'vein' using a pick?

You nailed it again Jake !
you are a one man phenomenon ,
rubato is for wimps ....

Could you describe the recording chain
you use with that old Ibanez ?
(I play an old ibanez too)
how much is the neck Pickup sound
and how much is microphone ?
(do you have a mic inside the body
like Metheny ?)
Sounds great anyway
with a good dollop
of acoustic slap of the strings
which is GREAT for your style of play
