This showed up on ebay this morning. If I knew how to make a guitar Id be all over it. Thought Id point it out in case one of you luthiers missed it."RARE Gibson Brazilian RW back (only) made for the Heritage model in Kal. '65-'68" $450.
Hope someone grabs it and makes a dream guitar

Seller has 100% record lots of sales, If it was just a piece of BZL RW Id buy it at that price just to have it for....? But because its the back of a highly regarded gibson I couldnt bring myself to cut it up for...? Thought about grabbing it and commissioning a guitar build. I dont think an opportunity to get a piece of material like this is going to come up very often or ever at this price. Ive spent all morning talking myself out of it. This site is full of top luthiers, will one of you please grab this, make a beautiful flat top and then post pictures! (as a retired cabinetmaker this is killin me!!!)
