For those Trenier enthusiasts. I just received some pics of what Bryant is currently working on - which includes a “custom special “ with phases of the moon inlays. This particular guitar will be black with a blonde soundboard. There is also a Continental ,an

updated Calore model and a new Pasquale Grasso design.

I’ll update with more pics as they arrive - but here is what I have for now.

If that's a mineral streak on the top I'm assuming this will be a sunburst finish?

    Mark M,
A Continental would be a great choice for sure. I had a blonde one for a few weeks and it was magical.

Bryant will be making a new custom build in the next batch. He will be sharing those ideas with me shortly - and I will start a post on that build.

Not sure what that streak is, but knowing Bryant the outcome will be extraordinary. His finish work and shading is just remarkable.

I was thinking I liked the mineral streaks; they add character and authenticity. But then I like bear claw spruce, too.

Hello QAman! That continental is mine. Can't wait to get my hands on it this week. When Bryant asked what color I wanted I asked him to copy the finish he did on your custom Trenier. I'll keep you all posted once it arrives later this week and I get some practice on it, if interested.

Congratulations in advance! I'm sure the Continental will be amazing! Yes, please give us an update after you've had some time with the guitar.

Of course I can't help but watch these take life !

I don't see any humbuckers....Is it just this batch or ?

And I see a cutaway w/ a port. Does BT offer a port with all his models ?

    Thanks.

    Hi Dennis,
I don’t think any of these are Jazz Specials- and that’s why we are not seeing the Humbucker cutout. He has added Humbucker’s to solid tops too - but it’s rare.

As for the side port - Bryant will add it when requested. The port makes a huge difference for the player and I highly recommend it.

    Also, Steve - -

    ( curiosity again )

Is that batch like Mark C's, a quarterly output ?

    Thx

Bryant is more of a custom builder , whereas Mark Campellone is tooled and fixtures to build basically the same guitar with remarkable precision and predictable lead times.

Overall - Bryant makes around 10 -12 guitars / year - sometimes a few more , but not with the predictable lead times as Mark. Bryant’s guitars are built mainly by hand - with little to no fixtures, just like Jimmy D’Aquisto.

Both builders have completely different approaches to guitar construction - and
    both have many satisfied customers.
