Can someone please tell me where to find the knob on the left--cracked, as opposed to the one on the right, wrong purchase. Not sure what the term is for the different underside design, but left side one is what I need. Thank you.
Some thin cyanoacrylate adhesive, plus clamping for a short time, should take care of the crack, at least for awhile, while you search for a new knob. Shafts come in a couple of sizes, as do knobs to fit on them. It looks like you bought the Asian metric size, but it's hard to tell for sure. I also can't tell if the shaft is long enough for the new knob.

Those are the ones that are easy for horns. It's really that simple, there's nothing magic about Bb vs E. It's just that horns, the lead instrument in this genre, have an easier time on the flats.
Jim Hall and Bill Evans
Wes Montgomery and Jimmy Smith (the real one, sorry Cliff)
Wes and Mel Ryne
